HURRICANE PREPARATION

FLORIDA GOVERNER SCOTT HAS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR ALL 67 FLORIDA COUNTIES IN ANTICIPATION OF HURRICANE IRMA MAKING LANDFALL SOMEWHERE IN FLORIDA.

THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MAY REQUIRE WATER UTILITIES TO ISSUE PRECAUTIONARY “BOIL WATER” NOTICE IF THEY DEEM SUCH A NOTICE TO BE PRUDENT.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN WATER JUG OR CONTAINER AND FILL IT FROM ONE OF THE MANY WATER SPIGOTS. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE PLANT ENTRANCE GATE; THE PLANT AREA IS MADE AVAILABLE TO FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY OPERATIVES DURING STATES OF EMERGENCY.
